With a mission to "inspire and educate through nature," and a history spanning more than 40 years, MBG is Palm Beach County's oldest and largest public garden. Located just west of Palm Beach International Airport, the 14-acre garden is a tropical oasis for visitors.Discover 25 unique garden areas with more than 2,000 species of tropical and sub-tropical plants and trees: from Florida natives, to exotics, herbs, palms, cactus, bromeliads, tropical fruit trees, and much more! Just beyond the Garden's entrance gate, you will find the Gift Shop filled with gardening items, souvenirs, books, home décor, and children's toys. Located at the west end of the Garden is the Nursery & Vintage Thrift Shop, where you'll discover native plants, herbs, shrubs as well as gently used garden supplies, books, and other treasures.Visitors will find the information they need in many forms. Browse the collections to find the right tree for your needs or to look for new and interesting plants. Sign up for any of MBG's outstanding tours, classes, workshops, and lectures. Plant sales and blockbuster art exhibitions are some of MBG's exciting special events. Three plant sales a year draw people from all over South Florida to buy the finest plants and garden accessories from over 60 vendors. The Garden is open Tues-Sun 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. We are closed on all observed Palm Beach County holidays. Admission for MBG Members is FREE. Non-Member admission is $10; Children's admission (ages 5-12) is $5.
