The Stables is one of the UK's leading live music organisations founded by Sir John Dankworth and Dame Cleo Laine, offering excellent live music for all tastes - jazz, blues, folk, rock, classical, pop and world music. Our wonderful purpose-built auditorium seats 398 people and is the perfect place not only for concerts, but is also available for conferences. 2007 saw the opening of Stage 2 at The Stables - a new intimate cafe-bar and performance space. Our vision is to engage the widest range of people with music in all its diversity. In 2010 we founded IF: Milton Keynes International Festival, producing unexpected events in unusual spaces and places. IF runs every two years in the Summer in central Milton Keynes.
