ADVENTURE PACIFIC was established in 1993 as an Inbound Tour Operator & Destination Management Company which is able to cater to a wide range of client requirements throughout New Zealand & can provide creative tour planning & programme co-ordination for all sectors of the travel community.ADVENTURE PACIFIC handles any FIT, Group & Tour Series, Special Interest or Incentive requirements in New Zealand in conjunction with a team of experienced multi-lingual staff who are well versed in all aspects of the inbound industry & South Pacific destinations of Fiji Islands, Cook Islands & French Polynesia, whether for comprehensive programs, or 5 star tailor-made itineraries for groups or individuals.The founding Director of ADVENTURE PACIFIC is Mark Barclay who has built up a wealth of experience in the tourism industry since 1975 within New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Europe and Southern Africa where he has worked in a number of different roles covering many aspects of the travel & tourism industry encompassing product delivery, contract negotiations, and sales & marketing activities in many markets around the world. Mark Barclay is also a graduate of the University of Otago & Massey University; a Member of the New Zealand Institute of Travel & Tourism [MNZITT]; an Associate Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management [AFNZIM]; a Member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand [MInstD]; and a retired Commissioned Officer in the Royal New Zealand Artillery, N.Z.Army.
