The Health Care Collaborative has filed as a 501--3-C not-for-profit organization with the help of Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce. The focus and efforts will be expended to improve early identification of ocular melanoma, thyroid and colon cancers. This is a big data healthcare analytics initiative working with Global Care Analytics, Atrium Health, Novant Health, Iredell Memorial Hospital and area employers. The Health Care Collaborative is leveraging some of the best technology minds in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, genetics and population health management working in this collaborative. We are aggregating germane provider data around the region to focus on early ID, early screenings, and setting up early intervention by applying predictive analytics through artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. It is exciting work in which we are confident it will save lives. We are helping to get the at-risk patients into our healthcare systems for early treatment at the earliest indication of these diseases. It is proven that early identification of cancers is a game changer. If we can consistently identify cancers at Stage 1 the Health Care Collaborative will radically improve survivor rates.
