Entering their 6th decade of winegrowing, the family produces high quality Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel under the HALL, WALT, and BACA brands respectively. HALL collectively owns six wine country tasting rooms including HALL St. Helena, HALL Rutherford, HALL Napa Valley Palm Springs, WALT Sonoma, WALT Oxbow, and BACA Healdsburg. Owned by Craig and Kathryn Hall, the winery produces artisan hand-crafted wines that express the unique and diverse character of the wine country’s soils and climates through meticulous attention to detail in the vineyards and the winemaking process. The family’s premiere wine portfolio, led by Vice President of Winemaking Megan Gunderson, sources fruit from 15 Estate vineyards– In Napa: Sacrashe, Bergfeld, Hardester, Beller, Atlas Peak, Lamoreaux, Rainin, Dellar-Freidkin, Cook; In Sonoma Bob’s Ranch and BACA Estate; in Santa Barbara County Clos Pepe Estate; and The Corners Vineyard in Anderson Valley. Sustainability threads throughout our business and winemaking - The HALL St. Helena winery was the first in California to achieve The Green Building Council’s LEED® Gold Certification in the State of California in 2009 and earned another LEED® Gold certification for its gravity flow facility and Tasting Room in 2014.
