Alliance Contracting is a privately owned mining (open cut) and civil construction company founded in 1999 and still managed by two of its founding shareholders.The company specialises in both civil construction contracting and contract mining (open cut) delivering a broad range of construction, earthmoving and equipment hire services throughout Western Australia.It is also an employer of choice for Western Australian mining and civil construction jobs.The company's head office is in Perth, with depots in Karratha and Port Hedland, and is active in civil and mining projects throughout WA including the Pilbara, Eastern Goldfields and the Mid West.Alliance has grown dramatically since undertaking its first project to upgrade access roads to Yandi mine sites for BHP and Rio Tinto in 1999. The first long term open cut mining project was undertaken in 2004 for Straits Resources, initially carrying out civil works and then open cut mining for the Whim Creek Copper project.
