The Science Foundation Ireland Centre for Research Training in Machine Learning is designed to address the urgent industry demand for machine learning talent. We train academically outstanding, industry-ready PhD graduates in tightly connected cohorts. These graduates will be future leaders managing the disruption that machine learning is causing across industry and society.We provide a cohort-based training model that exposes doctoral researchers to the wider scientific relevance of their research, encourage peer-to-peer learning and facilitate the establishment of networks that will enhance their research, employability and leadership potential. As part of this training, students will undertake placements in enterprise, other non-academic establishments, or in the groups of international collaborators.ML-Labs PhD training is built in partnership with enterprise and three Irish Higher Education Institutions (Dublin City University, Technological University Dublin, University College Dublin) .
