Wallace Distribution distributes hardware and other items to about 15 states, mostly in the Southeastern US. Its goods include automotive and industrial products, hardware, housewares and electronics, lawn and garden items, lumber and building materials, paint, tools, and farm supplies. Its 100-plus trucks deliver to PRO Hardware, Golden Link Hardware, and Farm Mart stores, as well as to independent retailers. The company began in 1922 when W.B. Whittaker and Sam Holtsinger opened a hardware store. Late President John Wallace's father joined the company at its birth and became president in 1932. It became Wallace Hardware in 1944 and rebranded as Wallace Distribution in 2022 to coincide with the company's 100th anniversary.Wallace Distribution strives to be a Christian organization which projects a positive and motivating witness.
