Scientists and engineers from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) founded EOM Offshore LLC in 2009. EOM Offshore produces specialized mooring components that may be configured to support multiple industries and research. It is the exclusive licensed distributor for the patented mooring stretch hose technology. The 10,000 square foot EOM Offshore facility in Pocasset, MA includes manufacturing high bay space with loading docks and a 5 ton bridge crane, a climate-controlled urethane lab, electronic/assembly labs, and outdoor space for equipment staging and stretch hose testing. The EOM Offshore team collectively offers decades of experience with surface and subsurface moorings, from coastal depths to full ocean.
