America's oldest continuously running summer music festival at which no admission is charged. Presented by Redlands Bowl Performing Arts. The Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival story began in 1923 with the founding of the Redlands Community Music Association (RCMA), now Redlands Bowl Performing Arts (RBPA), by a woman with a vision - Grace Stewart Mullen. Mrs. Mullen's vision was that "music is for everyone" therefore no admission is ever charged for a Redlands Bowl performance. The season includes symphonies, operas, dance programs, and a full-scale musical production. The Redlands Bowl also features a Young Artist competition where talented young musicians compete for a chance to perform on the Bowl stage and for scholarship prizes. The Redlands Bowl is a treasured Southern California tradition.
