A second facility servicing the Southwest US market was opened in Dublin, Texas in 1990. In October 1999 the company was purchased by the current owners, Universal Blanchers LLC. Since that time, the business has grown to include five peanut processing plants with key facilities in every major US peanut growing region. These facilities include a low cost peanut dry roasting facility in Dublin, Texas, a state of the art raw peanut cleaning operation in Blakely, Georgia, and a full roasting and peanut butter ingredient plant in Edenton, North Carolina.
