HF has a strong resident services program and works with many services providers, churches and educational institutions to provide programming that will enhance the lives and ensure successful outcomes for our residents. Through the homelessness prevention program, ShelterNet, more than 25,000 individuals have been assisted with rent and utilities to help keep them in their homes.HF understands that good nutrition is important for the healthy development of both families and seniors. With state of the art refrigerated trucks, residents of HF developments in Georgia, Virginia and South Carolina enjoy the service of the Food Pantry Program which includes deliveries of frozen meat, poultry, fresh fruits and vegetables. The Food Pantry Program has delivered over 100,000 pounds of food since the program's inception. Humanities Foundation is also a dedicated advocate whose members serve on many local, state and national committees. In addition, we provide educational and health services to our housing residents as well as technical assistance to organizations and government entities.
