Since 2003, the Roger Federer Foundation supports educational projects located in the region of southern Africa and Switzerland. The programmes focus on the improvement of the quality of early learning and basic education. All activities are realised and implemented by local non-governmental authorities in close collaboration with the local communities.The Foundation enhances a world where children living in poverty are able to take control of their future and actively shape it. We aim to give children the best start on their educational path through life by establishing and further developing existing early educational services in a sustainable way. We support the development of skills and ensure that the community takes responsibility in solving its problems.
