Toronto Port Lands Company (TPLC) is the largest land owner in the Port Lands. The Port Lands are an extensive, underutilized area of 988 acres (400 hectares) located south of Lake Shore Blvd. and the Keating Channel/Don River. This area is rich in potential and unprecedented development opportunity, is bounded by the Toronto Inner Harbour to the West, Ashbridges Bay to the east and Lake Ontario to the south.A self-financing municipal corporation, TPLC is wholly-owned by the City of Toronto. Through our leasing, development, Brownfield reclamation and land management activities we finance our operations, fund other operations and are able to deliver a financial dividend back to the City.TPLC works closely with the City of Toronto to accelerate economic growth and job creation working with a wide range of public and private sector partners.
