The Official Charts Company are guardians of the UK's Official Charts for music and video – including the Official Chart Top 40 unveiled every week on BBC Radio 1. A joint venture between record labels' trade body the BPI and the Entertainment Retailers Association, the company is responsible for managing, commissioning, marketing, distributing and licensing the UK's official music and video charts. Besides creating charts which are licensed to partners including Radio 1, MTV, The Sun, Music Week, Soundnet jukeboxes, among others, the company also provides data services for the music and video industries – and operates one of the UK's leading music websites, OfficialCharts.com. Relaunched in 2015, OfficialCharts.com is the consumer-facing online home of the Official Charts.
