Putting Common Values Into Action:The Tzedaka-Sadaqh Project (TSP) identifies itself as an organization striving to plant the seeds of change and goodwill in Muslim-Jewish relations, by coming together toward the common value of charity while simultaneously building bridges of communication, respect, and trust between the two faiths. Originally a campus-based organization, the TSP board advocates for the critical imperative of cultivating young leaders devoted to both understanding and combating the challenges inherent to interreligious cooperation in an increasingly globalized world. Further, TSP has expanded beyond the university to the communal and national level, as a burgeoning initiative calling for the highlighting of similarities and the honoring of differences within a context of mutual respect,sensitivity, and multiculturalism.
