The Southern California American Industrial Hygiene Association was created for the following:1. Promote the study and control of environmental stressors arising in or from the work place or its products in relation to the health or well being of workers and the public;2. Increase the knowledge of industrial and environmental health through interchange and dissemination of information and to bring together persons interested in the various phases of industrial and environmental health; and3. Promote the industrial hygiene profession through the encouragement of interest, in cooperation with governmental, industrial, educational, and other professional bodies.We find great value in our ability to bring members from within our profession and related professions together to transform these objectives and build professional connections.
