We are a PreK-8 Catholic school serving the metro Atlanta area and beyond. Since our establishment in 1954 by the Sisters of Mercy, St. John the Evangelist Catholic School proudly carries on the legacy of leadership, scholarship and joyful service to others. In September 2017, St. John the Evangelist School earned its third National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Award, placing us in the top 1% of all Blue Ribbon Schools. We could not have achieved this honor without our amazing students, their supportive families, our esteemed and highly qualified faculty and staff, as well as our many partners in the Hapeville community.
