While the hospital itself consists of almost 200,000 square feet, St. Margaret's Health also reaches out to areas not close enough for routine and emergency healthcare with a system of St. Margaret's Health clinics, as well as, two walk-in facilities for minor illnesses and injuries.Nestled near the banks of the Illinois River, St. Margaret's Hospital currently has a courtesy and consulting medical staff of over 100 physicians and a network of primary and specialty physicians. With almost 700 employees, St. Margaret's Health is one of the top employers in the area.
