Launched in 1993 as a private, non-profit entity by the Governor's Council for Growth and Technology, MassEcon provides on-the-ground services to companies seeking to expand within or relocate to the state; takes the Massachusetts story on the road through targeted business development missions; and celebrates the achievements of Massachusetts companies through its annual Economic Impact Awards.
