We are focused on developing spatially-enabled applications, products, and technology platforms for solving problems at the intersection of our natural and built environments. *APPLIED MAPPING AND SPATIAL ANALYSIS*We create focused and rigorous custom web map applications and geospatial data processing pipelines for both vector and raster sources (UAS), and develop geospatial data and web-based analytical tools for the following vertical markets:> INFRASTRUCTURE: drinking water, wastewater, green and gray stormwater, transportation/mobility, Internet of Things (IoT), and land use/land cover.> PLANNING AND DESIGN: urban and regional planning, environmental planning, urban design and place-making, and economic development.> GEOSCIENCE: geohazards, geology, hydrology, groundwater, and energy.*PROFESSIONAL SERVICES*We work closely with local government partners, not-for-profits, and commercial clients under four levels of service:1) Virtual Geospatial Technology Officer (vGTO): provide guidance on geospatial data and technology for organizations getting started with in-house digital mapping using open-source and/or commercial off-the-shelf mapping software. 2) GIS Department as a Service (GIS-DaaS): serve as an organization's ad hoc GIS department by creating digital and paper maps, maintaining web applications, and providing technical support in all aspects of map development and data management.3) Enterprise GIS (EGIS): full-scale GIS strategic planning, implementation, and deployment across multiple business areas.4) CivicMapper Custom Projects: Software, custom and integrated data products, and web map application development.
