ELECTRONIC CARBIDE INC (ECI) is a company based out of 13005 LOMA RICA DR STE 1, GRASS VALLEY, California, United States. ECI is a family owned precision manufacturing machine shop that was opened in Nevada County in 1978. We qualify as a woman owned business and are ISO compliant and ITAR registered. For over 40 years we have worked with clients to develop innovative solutions to modern manufacturing needs, including conversion from manual to computerize (CNC) machining, expansion of drafting and programming services, and refinement of inspection requirements. The majority of our work is focused on precision machining using CNC mills and lathes, as well as wire EDM's, and our client base is primarily larger companies located throughout California. We specialize in Aerospace, microwave solution, military and defense technology manufacturing. ECI employs over 25 people, ranging from administrative staff to journey-men machinists. We are proud to say all of our employees are long term, with an average of over 15 years employed at ECI with 18 years experience. In 2006 ECI constructed a custom 18,000 square foot building to be home to all of our operations.
