Between appointing brand ambassadors to lead social media marketing campaigns, to creating interactive elements including raffles, food drops, and speaker giveaways, and even collaborating with campus organizations for academic and philanthropic events such as the Startup Tulane Entrepreneurship Club's Excel Accounting Seminar and the SDT's chapter spring fundraiser, SexyCakes has created a highly engaging and fun student community. Even after generating substantial revenue and nearly 250,000 impressions of originally generated instagram content, SexyCakes leads a new wave of innovation for college startups. From designing high demand apparel lines to producing in house media content including live student giveaways, operational promotional videos, and a documentary, the "Cakes Nation" stands as not a company, but a culture. Now approaching an incredibly rapid and lucrative expansion, SexyCakes is currently taking on an updated and evolved operation and menu, developing a state of the art mobile app, and facing exponentially increasing brand recognition.
