The Highland Kings Ultra is the most exclusive, luxury wilderness ultra-marathon ever to be held in Scotland, with 40 athletes challenging themselves through spectacular Scottish wilderness in April 2022. The route will cover 120 miles of trail running over four days, with 10,000ft of ascent from the Highlands of Glencoe to the rugged coastlines of the Isle of Arran. The event will be a true physical challenge for athletes, yet will deliver comfort and luxury rarely associated with endurance events. Through the event each athlete will receive support from world leading coaches and nutritionists; speedboat transfers and luxury accommodation on some of Scotland's most iconic islands; the comfort of athlete lounges to recharge, fine food and all supported by legends of sport and adventure including Ultra Running World Champion Jon Albon, Anna-Marie Watson and British explorer and holder of several endurance records, Sir Ranulph Fiennes.The event will culminate in an exclusive gala dinner, with a chance to hear stories from Sir Ranulph Fiennes about his adventures.
