Part business, part charity, part membership body - Bristol SU exists so that all students have the best student life while they are at the University of Bristol. We do something extraordinary every day: support student leaders to have a say in their education, help students get the most out of their university experience, and help them make the change they want in the world. We have over 22,000 members, 350 sports clubs and societies, a huge range of professional services, and a bold strategy. Led by our six Full-time Officers, we are central to the Bristol university experience. Our support of the student Faculty and Course Representatives gives students a voice in the way that their education is taught.Our dedicated Events team run a variety of different events throughout the year: gigs, comedy nights, conferences - both for students and the general public. Our own lettings agency, Bristol SU Lettings, has improved the experience of moving for students, saving them money and reinvesting all profits back into student activity. We also provide impartial academic advice and support through our Jusk Ask Service. This is all on top of providing opportunities for skill development through our volunteering programmes and representation system, and supporting all our student sports clubs and societies - everything from Snowsports and Accounting, to Knitting and Quidditch! All our work is based on our five values: Representation, Collaboration, Sustainability, Equality & Diversity, and Fun.
