Tradey is a fantasy stock trading platform. Your performance as a trader is public, however the companies and symbols you're trading are hidden. Other traders can pay $30.00 to follow your trading activity for 30-days and will get to view the companies and symbols at that time. We pay you $15.00 per follower every 30-days. Philip Ferreira first conceptualized the idea for Tradey in April, 2010. At the time Phil was developing another large project and did not have the time to undertake Tradey, so it was put on hold. Phil's original idea for Tradey was to follow a trader's real-life portfolio, using their trading account as validation for their gains and losses. This initial approach proved problematic, raised privacy concerns, and also limited participation to active traders. Phil wanted to reach a larger audience including students and people learning how to trade, so Phil put Tradey on the back burner until these issues could be resolved. In April, 2015, Phil came up with the idea to tackle the market with a fantasy trading approach that would allow anybody in the world to participate and test their trading abilities. Phil leveraged the design assets and components he had been building for DORK in order to expedite the launch and 12-weeks later Tradey was live. Tradey is the property of WebCorp, a web development company owned and operated by Philip Ferreira and his wife Crystal Ferreira.
