We are producers of needle felts essentially for dry dust filtration, with 2 plants, Bangalore and Baroda. From both our plants combined, we produce upwards of 1,00,000m2 of needle felts, from a wide variety of synthetic textile fibres. All the needle felt we produce is sewn in-house into dry dust collection filter bags. Some of the fibres we use are polyester, polypropelene, homopolymer acrylic, meta aramid, para aramid, P-84 polyimid, fiberglass etc. The needle felt designs composition of fibres. is entirely dependant on the dust characteristics, taking into account pH, temperature, fineness etc. All the needle felts we produce are heat treated in-house, super-callendered, and are often impregnated with anti static fibres, PTFE liquid emulsion, and/or flame retardant fibres depending on the application. All our 5 needle looms we operate are from Dr Fehrer Austria, some being customized to our production demands, with widths ranging from 1.2m to 3.3m. Our carding equipment is from Platts of UK and Rieter of Switzerland, and is heavily modified to suit our production demands. We weave our own scrims in-house giving us tremendous flexibility in product development. We have pioneered the use of "microfibers" for attaining very low emission levels for our customers, who are generally polluting industries such as cement producers, steel producers, coal fired boilers, non-ferrous metal producers etc. Almost 30% of our filter bag production is exported to over 26 countries, from the former eastern bloc countries, to Viet Nam with complete success.
