PDXWildlife is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit. We have been operating since Sept. 1st, 2011. Our office is located in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon. Our research focuses on threatened species, conducting innovative studies, and building international relations with fellow conservationists.We believe that the world is rapidly changing, and not all species can evolve quickly enough to survive. PDXWildlife concentrates on using scientific research and advances to improve the conservation of species in conservation breeding and reintroduction programs. We accomplish this through innovative and creative research in captive breeding, habitat restoration, and community education.The main goals of our program are:1. Improve threatened species captive breeding techniques to increase reproductive success2. Monitor reintroduction success through adaptive management techniques and applied research3. Educate individuals and communities to improve species and habitat conservation
