Susan McNamara, owner of McNamara Design, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Colorado and her degree in interior design is from the Interior Design Institute in Denver. With a desire to learn everything she could about the design industry, Susan worked on projects for high-end residential design firms and an architecture firm for nine years. This experience provided her with invaluable resourcing and broad business capabilities that led her to opening her own company, McNamara Design, in 1999. Having experience in a variety of aspects and disciplines of architecture and interiors, Susan has designed over 50 homes including new construction and renovations. She's worked across the US in places such as Hawaii, Florida, Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado including extraordinary homes in Beaver Creek, Vail and Castle Pines. Her style ranges from sophisticated mountain and ranch homestead to European influenced old world. She enjoys mixing styles, art and architecture, as well as interpreting clients' likes and needs into workable designs. Susan is an innovative thinker who loves the diversity of each project as well as all aspects of the design process. She understands what it takes to make a project look and feel just right and takes the time to thoroughly understand each client's needs and goals. Susan "does it all" for her clients making the design process simple and enjoyable from the conceptual design to move-in day!
