The World Health Organisation has declared Delhi as the City with the worst air quality in the World. Combined that with the fact that our body is unable to filter anything smaller than 2.5 microns. So these carcinogenic particles enter our lungs and eventually our blood stream and effect the heart, brain, lungs, fertility, and rankly almost every organ in our body. With less than 7 good air quality days in Delhi over the past 2 years, as per the standards established by the WHO, this is a public health crisis. To give you some perspective, we drink 2-3 liters of water a day, while we inhale between 10,000 – 12,000 liters of toxic air.
