Aftertouch is an audio & visual production and postproduction studio based in Cape Town. Definition of Aftertouch: You can affect parameters AFTER the initial TOUCH. That is, once a velocity value has been transmitted with the initial pressing of the key(s) on a keyboard, you can further control parameters by varying the amount of pressure on the key(s). We are aware that in this industry, parameters and dynamics constantly change, your initial and ultimate visions don't always see eye to eye and often we wish time would stand still. Aftertouch delivers flexibility, understanding, professionalism and experience to make the road to the final product that much smoother. The story of Aftertouch starts way back in the mists of time; well in 2000 to be exact, in Johannesburg. With early beginnings, predominantly, as a music production studio, the company then embarked on a journey which has ended up under the gaze of the majestic Table Mountain, in Woodstock, Cape Town. Along with the travels came transformation and we now offer audio/visual production and post production solutions to an array of service industries. Now based in the media hub known as the Old Castle Brewery, this creative space boasts all the latest digital and analogue equipment needed to fulfil your requirements. However, we do not just have quality facilities but the skills to go with it. Since its inception, Aftertouch has been at the cutting edge of broadcast radio and television, corporate, commercial, animation and feature film delivery. After 11 years in existence, we're privileged to be part of an ever expanding and diverse market.
