Meg Saligman Studios is a public art studio specializing in large, multi-faceted public projects. These include three of our nation's largest murals, installations of permanent building materials into new construction and a public installation for Pope Francis' visit to Philadelphia, which engaged over 150,000 participants. For 25+ years, Meg Saligman Studios has traveled throughout the U.S. and abroad to invigorate the built environment with paint, light and glass. The studio believes looking, listening, sharing, and collaborating are inseparable from the paint, the place, and the forms created. Accordingly, the studio's work amplifies these relationships by involving community members throughout all stages of creation from concept to design, execution, and increasingly, the interactive final product. As innovators in the field, Meg, and her team have been recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Smithsonian Institute, Public Art Review, and numerous others.
