Swift Molecular Diagnostics is a molecular diagnostic company that wants to revolutionise the field of diagnostics and make it accessible to everybody and everywhere. We are developing a novel technology for cost-effective, rapid, easy-to-use and highly specific "yes or no" test that can be performed directly by the side of the patient in under 15 minutes. We have developed a novel method of lateral flow DNA detection, enabling the detection of low levels of specific DNA sequences without the need for additional sample processing or expensive DNA amplification methods. Alongside this, our technology has made it possible for ultra-low levels of targets to be detected, enabling highly sensitive lateral flow diagnostics for diseases which are undetectable with current lateral flow technologies.
