The Department of Residential Programs and Services (RPS) has served Indiana University Bloomington with on-campus housing resources since 1906. Today, RPS serves a population of 12,500+ residents with traditional residential halls, furnished apartments, unfurnished apartments, and a variety of on-site dining locations through IU Dining.Students can engage in life on campus through interest-oriented learning communities, including 11 Living-Learning Centers located in RPS residential halls, and residents also have access to resources such as provided media streaming, academic centers, hall libraries, and more. RPS apartment complexes also provide housing options for faculty and graduate students as well as undergraduate residents.RPS main offices are located at the Nelson Administration Building at 801 North Jordan Ave.
