Jaggo was founded as a 501(c)3 non profit organization in 2018 by Diya Kar. Jaggo signifies RISE UP in her culture which is a title for our non profit organization that truly embodies what girls supporting girls can do. Jaggo aims to support women who have endured sexual/domestic abuse as well as raise awareness for such incidents through a multitude of missions within our local and global community. Our top priority is to provide women of every race, ethnicity, and background with a voice and an opportunity to succeed to the fullest extent. We have always, and will continue to, strive to make the world a better place and bring the global community together to work towards the common goal of women's empowerment. We will build a positive environment across the world through this platform by building a network and establishing personal connection with victims of form of abuse, and supporting organizations such NGOs , Law & Administration and Media.Locally we plan to fundraise for specific women shelters throughout Southern California as well as conduct several service events circulated around empowering women. In term of globally, we plan to reach out to women within India through our application MeToo India. Through this app, individuals inspected by some form of abuse can reach out us, forms of media, NGOS, & police authority to seek proper guidance on how to approach the experience they endured.
