MoGraph Mel is the creative studio of Melanie Aratani. I am a Denver based director, designer, and animator, specializing in creating 3D motion graphics, design, and illustration for video content. I also create custom animated explainer videos which focus on explaining products or educating consumers on a specific topic. Animation can be an incredible way to help visually explain tough topics. My favorite thing about creating videos is seeing people begin to understand something in a way they didn't before. This is a one-stop shop, capable of every stage of the video production process: idea generation, script writing, storyboarding, animation, and sound design. Whether you're well-versed in the process of animation, or unsure of whether animation is even the right route to take, I can help. My hope is that each project feels like a true collaboration between myself and the client, so communication is of the utmost importance to me. Each project kicks off with a consult, then a calendar is created along with a PDF describing each stage of the process, ensuring that both parties know what to expect and we can hit all our deadlines, ultimately creating a video we both love.
