East to West Basketball began its journey in 2010 by hosting young basketball players from Hakkari in Istanbul. The main purpose of advancing the opportunities of players who are dedicated to improving themselves has strengthened along the way through the events organized each year. Since the beginning, various camps, discussion panels and tournaments have been organized to transfer the experiences of many international basketball players and coaches to young players. President of Turkish Basketball Federation Harun Erdenay, NBA player Hidayet Türkoğlu, European Legend Coach Zeljko Obradovic, CSKA Moscow Coach Dimitris Itoudis and President of Dağrussafaka Doğuş İbrahim Kutluay were only some of the notable guests. Hosting many passionate players from Europe and Turkey for 3x3 basketball tournaments for the past 3 years of the organization added greater opportunities for participants to gain valuable experience and form new friendships. By bringing young players all around Europe together, participants' abilities alongside with their personalities found valuable opportunity to flourish.
