The Datalys Center for Sports Injury Research and Prevention is an independent non-profit 501(c)3 that was incorporated in 2006 through a collaborative effort between the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), BioCrossroads, and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Datalys Center was founded to further the efforts of researchers, public health officials, associations, policy makers and the public in the understanding and prevention of injuries and illness. We are a company that specializes in epidemiological research focused on but not limited to sports and other forms of physical activity.The Datalys Center specializes in multicenter, multiyear research programs, but our epidemiologists, scientists, and staff can develop and implement most forms of research ranging from survey, longitudinal, and mixed-methods designs. Examples include the NCAA Injury Surveillance Program, the National Athletic Treatment, Injury and Outcomes Network (NATION), the Youth Football Safety Study, and most recently, Project CARE (Concussion Assessment Research and Education). Some of our current and past sponsors and clients include the NCAA, the National Athletic Trainers' Association Research and Education Foundation, BioCrossroads in cooperation with the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership Foundation, USA Football, the National Center for Catastrophic Sports Injury Research, and Indiana University.
