Bundoora Park is a 180-hectare parkland set in natural bushland beside the Darebin Creek and rising to Mount Cooper. Within, Bundoora Park Farm offers a unique experience to children, families and visitors from all walks of life. Proudly managed by the City of Darebin, Bundoora Park Farm is a community based, educational facility. With over 200 animals on-site, visitors are offered the opportunity to immerse themselves in farm life and appreciate the authentic experience of close contact with animals and nature. The Heritage Village provides an opportunity to explore colonial history, with Wurundjeri history and culture embraced through up-close experiences with kangaroos and emus in our wildlife reserve. Bundoora Park Farm offers a wide range of educational programs for both primary and secondary year levels, exploring the 'basic needs of animals' to 'sustainable farming'. We offer work experience, tertiary placements, volunteer experience as well as holiday and recreation programs for children. We are motivated to educate the community about farming sustainably, through the demonstration of sustainable farming practices.
