Normally if we believe that we can help, we will represent you on a contingency fee basis.Generally in order for an individual to be approved for disability benefits by the Social Security Administration:• They must currently not be working (or if they are working, they must have less than $980 per month in earnings);• They must have a physical or mental condition (or a combination of physical and mental conditions) that interferes with their ability to perform work;• The medical condition(s) must be severe enough that it has prevented the individual from performing full-time work for at least 12 months, or it is believed the condition(s) will prevent the individual from performing work for at least 12 months in the future;• There must be ongoing medical treatment for the medical condition(s), and the individual must be compliant with their doctors orders; and• The individual's treating physician or psychiatrist must be willing to provide supportive medical opinions on the individual's behalf.It is best to consult with us if you have questions about the disability process.
