Since 2007, The Manhattan Childrens Center (MCC), located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, has offered unparalleled instruction to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). With a holistic approach and one-to-one, tailored teaching, MCC focuses on appropriate outcomes for each child and provides constant evaluation of success in reaching individualized goals.The Manhattan Childrens Center provides scientifically-based world class treatment and education to children, ages 5 to 18, utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Our goal is to offer every child an opportunity to enjoy a quality of life and emerge as a contributing member of society. As each child is unique, we provide individualized instruction according to his or her developmental abilities.This program's transdisciplinary model incorporates ABA, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, as well as sensory integration, natural environment training and family support. The Manhattan Childrens Center provides a comprehensive educational approach for children with autism spectrum disorder utilizing scientific research-based interventions that are effective based on years of experience. We are a partner in research and service activities with Columbia University, Teachers College faculty and students.Our caring professionals focus on each student to enhance and foster his or her maximum potential.
