Mae Antur Waunfawr yn fenter gymdeithasol sy'n cynnig cyfleoedd gwaith a hyfforddiant i unigolion ag anableddau dysgu. Prif amcanion yr Antur yw: creu cyfleoedd gwaith, hyfforddiant ac iechyd a llesiant i oedolion ag anableddau dysgu; i fod yn gyflogwr cynaliadwy ac i amddiffyn ein heconomi, amgylchedd, diwylliant ac iaith leol.Wedi'i sefydlu ym 1984, mae'r sefydliad wedi datblygu'n sylweddol dros y 35 mlynedd diwethaf, a bellach yn cyflogi dros 100 o staff ac yn cefnogi 67 o unigolion ag anableddau dysgu. Ymhlith y prosiectau mae gwasanaeth gofal cartref; adran aml-ofynion; siop dodrefn a dillad ail-law Warws Werdd; canolfan ailgylchu Caergylchu; gwasanaeth ailgylchu papur cyfrinachol 'Llarpio Antur'; caffi cymunedol; parc natur 7 erw; siop grefftau; a siop feics Beics Antur. * * *Antur Waunfawr is a social enterprise offering work and training opportunities to individuals with learning disabilities. Antur's main objectives are: to create work, training and health and well-being opportunities for adults with learning disabilities; to be a sustainable employer and to protect our local economy, environment, culture and language. Established in 1984, the organisation has developed substantially over the last 35 years, and now employs over 100 staff and supports 67 individuals with learning disabilities. Projects include domiciliary care; a complex needs department; Warws Werdd second-hand furniture and clothes outlet; Caergylchu plastic recycling centre; 'Llarpio Antur Shredding' confidential paper shredding service; a community cafe; 7-acre nature park; a crafts shop; and 'Beics Antur' bike shop.
