projectSHERPA is building the next generation technology job search engine, leveraging a variety of algorithms for pricing jobs, truncating job descriptions, tagging key technologies within a job description and presenting them in a more intuitive interface. We further enrich the experience with analytics around hiring trends within the company and the greater industry, along with algorithmic curation, based on user interactions for jobs or companies the user should know about. In addition, we have aggregated multiple data sources, like Crunchbase, Twitter, Github to provide a comprehensive view on a company, all focused on providing the most in depth experience for technologists. Once this first phase is complete (very soon) we will focus on building the connections to the companies, providing data analytics for all market participants, and work on a proprietary data standard to increase efficiency of the marketplace for job publishing.
