The Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) at Marshall University provides economic analysis to a wide variety of clientele in public, private and non-profit sectors. The CBER staff is comprised of 15 researchers, administrators and students and benefits from its associates' diverse experiences and qualifications. The Center offers a variety of services, specializing in energy, policy, education and health. Work produced by CBER has been cited both regionally and nationally. Most publications are provided for review in the Our Work section. CBER's main purpose is to provide independent analysis and quality research. CBER fulfills this purpose by both conducting economic research and providing various business and economic services to the region's public and private sectors. Our mission and vision stem directly from this fundamental purpose. Mission statement: To provide independent analysis and quality research to aid in economic decision making for public and private organizations. Vision statement: To be the most recognized resource for objective economic research in the region.
