The AMEDD is led by the Surgeon General of the U.S. Army.The AMEDD is the U.S. Army's healthcare organization. Its headquarters is at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas, which hosts the AMEDD Center and School (AMEDDC&S).
