Scare tactics and bait-and-switch sales methods are often used to drive up sales at the expense of hard working home owners. Working in the industry myself and later in management, I observed these tactics being used and even saw them encouraged in the field. I also saw a real lack of customer service, leaving customers "nickel and dimed" and frustrated.Somewhere along the way I realized that the Portland and Vancouver area needed a better option for pest control services. My wife and I decided to create that option. We named our new company "New Leaf" because we wanted to signify a fresh start on how pest control service should be.We asked ourselves one simple question, "If we were customers, what would we want in a pest control company?"
