Hudson Valley Hospice goes beyond the basic government mandated requirements of hospice care and also offers Music Therapy, End of Life Doulas, Pet Therapy, Reiki, other Energy Therapies and more. Everything we do is geared toward providing the best quality of life for patients during their final months and weeks, whether they are at home, in a nursing home, in a hospital, wherever they call home. Hudson Valley Hospice is a proud Level V provider of hospice care under the We Honor Veterans Program, a collaboration between the National Health and Palliative Care Organization and the Department of Veteran Affairs. Hospice is a benefit of Medicare, as well as many insurance plans. Donations to Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation help to support those who may be uninsured or under-insured and provide for non-formulary drugs, tablets for our telehospice lending program, equipment, programs and services and more.
