Our members are at the forefront of the Canadian sports medicine community, working with most professional sports teams, Olympic and national athletes, as well as industrial and artistic athletes such as in manufacturing and performing arts. Founded in 1965, the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association is the national governing body for Certified Athletic Therapists in Canada, representing over 2,600 certified and candidate members. There are seven regional chapters representing the profession and local membership in their respective provinces and territories.
