Ken started working in the oilfield in 1959 as a roughneck. He soon found the oil field to be his passion. In 1963 he entered into partnership designing and manufacturing patented oilfield equipment. In the late 1960's developing and patenting equipment to pressure test tubing and casing connections externally. In the mid 70's he began working with tubing and casing connections eventually earning approximately 30 US Patents mostly dealing with the modifications with API Threads.
