Cypex is a leading manufacturer of recombinant drug-metabolising enzymes (both Phase I and Phase II). The technology behind Cypex's core products was developed during a five-year research programme at the University of Dundee, funded by the UK Research Council (BBSRC) and a consortium of pharmaceutical companies.Cypex's products are used within pharma/biotech companies, contract research organisations, and academic groups to characterise CYP phenotype and metabolic route, and to investigate drug interaction liabilities of new chemical entities.
